QUESTION & AND ANSWER #1
Welcome to the first edition of the Question & Answer blog series.
Whenever I’m asked a really interesting hypnosis question, I will create a short blog, so that everyone can benefit from the answer. Here’s the first question:
Q: “So, once again, I got a call in the middle of trance. The interruption came right before the mindfuck portion, so basically 30 minutes in. In a situation like that, what is the best way to resume? Continue where you were? Rewind it a little bit, start a new mini-mindfuck from scratch?”
A: It depends on you and how quickly you can get back into trance. Depending on what type of hypnotic subject you are, you may not need to start over from the beginning. Try taking a few deep breaths, count yourself down, and then start the file wherever you think would be good. After the session ends, evaluate how that worked out for you. If it wasn’t enough, then if you’re interrupted again, try rewinding the session back a little further, or make whatever adjustment you think might be needed. Everything is a test and a way of getting to know the type of hypnotic subject you are. The more you learn about yourself as a subject, the better you’ll be able to answer these questions.

I try to prevent situation like this right from the beginning by switching off or muting all devices. Still there are times when I forgot to do so for one device which then goes off during trance. And as Mistress describes, I’ve learned to remain calm, turn off whatever disturbed me and go straight back into trance. Most of the time I go quickly back deeeep.
